Enrolling for the first year of secondary school<\/span><\/span><\/h2>

The application period for the first year of secondary school runs from\u00a025\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>up to and including 31 March 2026.\u00a0<\/strong>Het aanmelden gaat volgens de procedures.\u00a0Core Procedure Amstelland<\/a><\/strong> This registration takes place exclusively online via a so-called ELK login, which you will receive from your child's primary school.<\/span><\/p>\n

A pupil from a primary school in Amsterdam or another municipality bordering Amstelland becomes a \u2018Apprentice<\/strong>\u2019 is mentioned. The application period has now closed. All first-year classes at the HWC for the academic year 2026-2027 are full. Unfortunately, it is not possible to place your child on a waiting list.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Intake for TTO<\/span><\/span><\/h2>

Ben je van plan je aan te melden? bilingual first year class<\/strong> at the HWC (vmbo-t, havo or vwo)? Then we invite you for an intake. During this intake, you will take a short Dutch and English test and have a conversation with us.<\/p>\n

Together we will see if bilingual education suits you. But the intake isn't just for us: it's also your moment to discover if TTO is really as fun and challenging as you think.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

On 15 April 2026, from 4:00 PM, you can see which school your child has been placed in via the ELK parent portal.<\/p>\n

If your child has been placed at the Hermann Wesselink College, you can officially register them on Thursday 16 or Friday 17 April. You can do this easily online. You will receive an email from the HWC containing a link to the registration form.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
