Dat was de gedachte achter het voorstel om ook voor vmbo een module te ontwerpen waarbij leerlingen kennismaken met het vak filosofie en filosofische vaardigheden kunnen ontwikkelen.<br \/>\nVanuit de subsidie basisvaardigheden was er ruimte om het plan daadwerkelijk tot uitvoer te brengen. Docenten Jip Maat en Annemarieke Roelvink hebben samen een programma gemaakt, waarbij we filosofische vaardigheden en inhoud combineren met de burgerschapsdoelen. Daar is een lesprogramma uitgerold waarbij we aandacht besteden aan argumenteren, samenleven, vrijheid en macht, maar ook vriendschap, solidariteit en complottheorie\u00ebn. Waar bij het vak maatschappijleer de nadruk meer ligt op kennis van de Nederlandse samenleving en politiek, legt filosofie de nadruk meer op het kritisch denken, de dialoog en het onderzoeken van waarden en aannames.<\/p>\n<p>Maandag 26 januari was het dan zover. De eerste les filosofie voor vmbo-t 3 op het HWC! We daagden de leerlingen uit om na te denken, door ze hun mening te laten geven over verschillende vragen en stellingen, zoals bijvoorbeeld: Moet je aardig zijn tegen iemand die je niet kent? Laten sociale media zien wie je echt bent?<br \/>\nHet leukste is het doorvragen: maar waarom vind je dat dan? Daar komen mooie antwoorden uit. Ook gingen we aan de slag met aannames: pas op wat je antwoordt op een vraag met een aanname erin! Bijvoorbeeld als je \u201cnee\u201d roept op de vraag Sla jij je broertje nog steeds? Wat betekent dat dan? Dat je hem vroeger wel hebt geslagen en nu niet meer? Of dat je geen broertje hebt? Of dat je je broertje nog nooit hebt geslagen? Beter eerst even vragen wat iemand met zijn vraag bedoelt!<\/p>\n<p>Een ander onderwerp is vrijheid en samenleven: Hoe zou onze samenleving eruitzien zonder regels? Wat zou er dan gebeuren? En wat zou jij doen als je een ring hebt waardoor je onzichtbaar wordt? Niemand kan zien wat je doet en waar je bent. En wat denk je dat je een ander zou doen met zo&#8217;n ring?<\/p>\n<p>Niet alleen vragen zijn belangrijk, maar ook de antwoorden: wat is een goed beargumenteerd antwoord? We proberen verder te kijken dan wat je in eerste instantie ergens van vindt.
