On Monday evening 14 September, pupils from years 5 and 6 of the pre-university education (vwo) level at schools in Amstelveen once again competed against municipal councillors in an exciting debate competition organised by Rotary Amstelveen.
Our five pre-university education pupils Ilias, Sanvi, Lotte, Rateel and Denait, together with pupils from the KKC and AC, debated with great panache and know-how against three teams from the municipal council, this time with the Council Chamber as a fine backdrop.
As always it was another thrilling battle, with the pupils ultimately running off with the win. That now makes it 8-7 to the pupils after 15 matches!
