On Friday 12 December, it's Purple Friday again, a national day of action where schools draw attention to diversity, and in particular to sexual, gender, and sex diversity. The aim of this day is to emphasise that everyone can be themselves, belongs, and deserves respect – regardless of who you are, what you believe, or who you fall in love with.
We at the HWC are happy to participate. By wearing something purple, pupils and staff show that they stand for an inclusive school where everyone feels welcome.
