Exchange with the HED (Helpdesk Evenementen en Demonstraties)

On 11 May, we welcomed a Year 7 class from the HLW, one of the other Cedar schools. The pupils took part in an activity indoors alongside our own Year 7s. TTO Global Citizenship, with the theme of culture.
The day began with a brief introduction, in an original way, by means of a Alliterative introductions are an artistic and amusing approach.“Hi, I’m Super Susan!”. That helped to break the ice quickly.
Afterwards, the pupils worked in mixed groups. Each group chose a country and delved into an aspect of its culture. At the end of the day, the groups presented their findings to each other.
The pupils of class 1s played the role of hosts and hostesses on this day, and they did so very well; the pupils from the HLW soon felt at ease.

We look back on a pleasant and instructive day!
