We were able to thoroughly enjoy our grand theatre production. The One I Want, which drew three full houses in recent days with pupils, colleagues, parents, brothers, sisters, grandpas, grandmas and even former employees. The One I Want is an adaptation of Grease, rewritten by teachers Gerda Harleman and Angelie Wassink and performed by our students.
In Café Mien, Mien and Annie looked back on their *Grease* days, while their niece told a contemporary version of the story. This happened together with a complete cast, four singers – supplemented by the café visitors – and a full band. The dancers provided some beautiful, emotional moments. The set made it all come together as one coherent whole.
We're already looking forward to the next production!
