Since Saint Maarten is a typical Dutch tradition, the teachers gave an explanation about this day and the students all made a lantern by themselves. On Friday afternoon the whole class had a rehearsal at school, they went to the school principal, several team leaders and even to the roster room to practice their songs. Of course, they were treated to sweets. They sang very well, and both the students and the teachers and managers loved their visit. In the evening, most of the students also walked Saint Maarten, with teacher Tatiana accompanying them. It was a very nice day, and the students can already sing Dutch songs very well!
