ICC's Adventure at Camp Heino and Slagharen!
From June 3rd to 5th, our International Crossover Class embarked on an epic 3-day summer camp adventure that we'll never forget! We kicked things off with two amazing days at Camp Heino and wrapped up with an action-packed day at the Slagharen theme park. Here's a fun recap of some of the things we did on this awesome trip!
Camp Heino Highlights:
- Mini Golf Masters: We started with some friendly competition on the mini golf course.
- Animal Adventures: Feeding the adorable animals at the petting zoo was a hit.
- Baguette Bonanza: Making our own baguette sticks over an open fire was not only delicious but also super fun. Yum!
- Challenge Run Champions: Our full day of challenge activities had everyone running, jumping, and laughing. It was a total blast!
- Splash Time: We cooled off with some pool time.
- Disco Fever: The camp disco had everyone showing off their best dance moves. What a night!
Slagharen Theme Park Thrills:
Wednesday was all about the thrills at Slagharen theme park. Even though we were a bit tired from our camp adventures, the rollercoasters and rides gave us that extra adrenaline rush! It was a day filled with screams of joy and lots of laughter.

A HUGE thank you to all the staff and students who made this trip so memorable. Special shoutout to our amazing Year 3 ‘hulpmentoren’, Sophie and Ilias, who were absolutely fantastic throughout the camp.
What a perfect way to cap off our ICC year, which wraps up in just four weeks. We’ll carry these fun memories with us and look forward to more exciting times this year and ahead!
